What a lovely stay at this charming cottage in the stunning countryside! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the friendly host and their adorable dog. The cottage itself was cozy yet spacious, and I especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space where I could relax and soak in the breathtaking views. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the waterfall shower was a luxurious treat. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, complete with all the essentials and even some extra goodies like fresh bread, butter, jam, and milk. The location was perfect for exploring Dartmoor and the nearby coastline. I had an amazing time and can't wait to return in the future.

We only wish we could have stayed longer! The host Charles was very welcoming and we loved their cockapoo Hetty! The cottage was cosy yet spacious, with a great outdoor space for breakfast and evening games. The beds were comfortable and the waterfall shower was heavenly. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, including a nice loaf of bread, butter, jam, and milk. The location was perfect for exploring Dartmoor and the coastline. Couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return again in future!

The location was just right - a little out of the way for a peaceful getaway, but not too far to reach local areas. It was wonderful waking up to the sound of birdsong in the morning. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful retreat!

The living room area was a bit smaller than expected, but it still felt cozy and comfortable. The shared bathroom could benefit from better ventilation or a fan, although this may not be possible due to the nature of the building.

I also appreciated the convenient grocery delivery from Sainsbury's & Waitrose and the excellent service from a local miniCab company. The hotel is quite remote, with the nearest pub being a 30-minute walk away. finding the hotel using the given postcode was a bit challenging, especially in the dark and on narrow winding lanes.
